Hello everybody!
I'm Italian, but I've always believed in cosmopolitism, and therefore I've decided to expose my ramblings to the world in the wonderful universal language that is English...
Of course, it's not my mother tongue, so y'all be indulgent if I make any mistakes.

Now, what could I tell you about moi?

I am absolutely addicted to chocolate. Then again, who isn't?

I love music, I can't imagine my life without a soundtrack; I listen mostly to rock, but I like to keep my mind open to every kind of music. Every song might have something to offer, and if it's not good music or good lyrics, it might be a pervy VC association. XD
I also play the piano...well, sort of. I love it, but I've never been one to practice much, woe is me and my perennial sloth. Which is also the reason why I loathe sports. x)

I'm an avid reader - or I used to be before my school screwed up my reading schedule, because when I'm done with horrid boring homework stuff, I don't really feel like picking up another paperish thing so soon.XP
However, all-time favourite author is JRR Tolkien (Maashter!). Also included on the long list, hmmm... Oscar Wilde, JK Rowling, Anne Rice (before she went nuts), Charles Baudelaire, Italo Calvino, er...Preston&Child (just because I love Pendergast, lolz)...

I enjoy (good) fanfiction immensely: I love reading it and I try to write some myself, though I'm not very patient with it and leave most works incomplete. That's what happens to most of my original stories and stuff, except for some short stories and poems. X3

I have an utter fascination for vampires, who are, I believe, the darkest and most romantic literature monsters: in particular I am a HUGE fan of Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles (first four volumes, though.)

I love travelling. Of course, I do love the idea of 'home', and who doesn't, but nonetheless I think I might be perfectly happy to spend half of every year travelling. To anywhere. To everywhere, really. Being abroad is my cup of tea. As of now though, my only fixed plan is to go the New Orleans annual Halloween ball. And now I know my 'Armand' will be coming with me, awws. After all it was her... I mean his idea to begin with, wasn't it, mon cher? x)

I like poetry (especially depressing poems...I have a reputation for being Louis XD) and all sorts of dark, gothic things... which doesn't mean I'm not in for a laugh, of course!
Because after all,

This life must be a test.
If it was the real thing we would have been given better instructions.

Well, what more can I add to that?
I am, essentially, a dreamer - if an occasionally hallucinated one.
I am Absynthe.
